1. black coffee:
   I love caffeine, which is quite a strong enough stimulant for me these days. I particularly love good filter coffee, and I prefer it black, to avoid the taste and karma of milk. I only really take milk in instant coffee, where anything that dilutes the flavour is appreciated.
2. dead man:

   This movie was possibly one of the most influential on my life and philosophy. The dreamlike transition from life to death is how we all pass our days, in my opinion. With themes of alienation from society, a Blake link, and amazing black and white photography... what's not to like?
3. elgar's cello concerto:
   I love stringed instruments, and particularly the cello. This is an amazing piece, and one that has particular resonance for me, as it was played at my nan's funeral. I was very close to my nan - I lived with those grandparents for a while - and it was also the first close death I experienced.
4. growing my own veg:
   I'm vegetarian, and eat a lot of vegetables. I also liike my vegetables to taste of something, and I love gardening. It's all quite obvious really.
5. life coaching:
   I'm a certified life-coach, which is about helping people to make the steps they need to fix their problems in the here and now. It's been loads of help in my own life, particularly as this has been a difficult year.
6. my sodastream:
   I like sparkling water, but would rather die than be caught buying bottles from a supermarket. Just don't get me started on the bottled water rant. It's such a long one that I've now developed an "OJ offshoot". Sodastream is good :)
7. psychology:
   It's how your brain works. How could you not be interested?
8. sarcasm:
   People annoy the f*ck out of me a lot of the time. However, I'm generally polite, British, and unassertive, so my only weapon is sarcasm. It's also very funny, especially when taken to hyperbole. Best way to defuse something I'm bothered with is to take a long and amsuing sarcastic rant over [see: ex]
9. stationery:
   Paper, notebooks, swishy pens. Even sparkles and putty rubbers turn me on, and I can spend hours in a stationery shop poking around the shelves. I've always been obsessed with it, even as a small child, and I still have a lot of the more interesting stuff from childhood.
10. thin white rope:
    They're a band and they're great. I spent most of my formative years listening to them in various states of intoxication (me and them). They're musically sound, and the lyrics really speak to me. This is probably the only band I've identified with.
