• I managed to lose my can of beer last night. God knows how, but on the bright side, it'll be a pleasant surprise when it resurfaces.
  
• it's Friday, it's a really nice day, and there are loads of leaves swirling past my window. I'm near a corner of the building where there's a little eddy. Things can whirl around for several minutes.
  
• there's a physics lecture at the HP labs on Wednesday, and this week I really am going to go to it.
  
• Rich Hall was on the TV last night, and it looks like there's a whole series going on.
  
• two parcels came for me this morning - maybe one is finally my Shpongle CD? Although this is slightly negative in that the postman lied about me not being in, the fact that I have to now go and pick up the parcels tomorrow means that I have something to look forward to. I guess :p

Further to my positive post earlier, it's started raining and I remembered I have a performance review this afternoon.

My performance review was dull. I have to fill in a form and do an interview so that I can get a regrade in my post. For various reasons, I'm debating the pros and cons of not getting around to it.

My web page is shaping up nicely.

And still it rains :)
