Expeditions

Firstly, we went on a walk along the cycle track from Nailsworth to Stroud. This was a walk I grew up with, doing it practically every day. Some of it has changed a lot - there are a bunch of what I can only describe as executive Center Parcs huts dominating the beginning stretch in the charmingly named Goldwater Springs. The rest is very much the same.

Today we went down to Weston for a walk along the promenade and it absolutely pissed it down. Then we had to drive back up the M5 in the mother of all storms - I could barely see ahead of me, and one part was so flooded that coke bottles were floating on the surface. We drove through a rainbow.
