BRITISH MILITARY DEATHS IN IRAQ

51 British troops have died
21 were killed in combat
19 died in accidents
Five troops were killed by 'friendly fire'
Four died of natural causes
Two deaths are under investigation

Is it me, or does 4 deaths of natural causes seem a lot? I'll leave aside the number of "accidents" of various kinds...

well, it all depends on the deffintion of natural. probably at least two of those were caused by dehydration, one by illness, and one by snake bite or scorpion sting (the yellow desert scorpion's venom can kill in four hours if the antivenom isn't applied quickly enough).

not that i think any deaths for any reason are acceptable, but i'll believe the four by natural causes.

Yeah - that makes more sense now.
