I just treated myself to a cappuccino, so I'm all over-caffeinated, but this bit from our work intranet amused me:

Suggestion: Panic buttons on each floor for medical emergencies.
Answer: The H&S committee felt that as we haven't had a medical emergency in the building, there would be no benefit from putting in panic buttons
Hahah - that's OK then. I feel better knowing that so long as there hasn't been an emergency, there's no need to make provision for one. Tell you what - there's never been a huge and overwhelming deluge of work on a Friday, so I'll just go home shall I?
