Topiary shears - check

Thanks to the Festival of the Tree and its wonderful selection of tool sellers. Nice old pair of razor sharp one-handed shears. I just spent a couple of hours volunteering at Westonbirt Arboretum, and it is always fun. With the bonus of discovering that the sort of feisty independent older ladies that I admire also seem to think I'm making a pretty funky job of my life. Which is reassuring and happy-making. And if I didn't have the blinding headache from hell, I'd probably type more about it :)
