Heheh. Normally I have to gouge around in the top of the carton with a knife, or the non-business end of a teaspoon until I gain some small opening. I then have to pick all the rest of the plastic off by hand. It's truly a pathetic sight.
I get those open every time - but the Iaido practice helps!
Don't fool with the cap, just go straight at it with the biggest and sharpest thing you have. I wonder why the Japanese don't drink milk though - you'd think they'd be well supplied for milk-opening ninjas.
I used to think the old sort of milk carton was a rubbish design until we got these. I wonder what they'll spring on us next? Locked steel bottles?
I think that it's all a ploy to get us to buy our milk from the milkman... There is nothing quite like opening the foil on a bottle of fresh milk on a morning!

It's OK for you - you have special mom skills. You can open any food carton with one hand and a blindfold on. I'm just an unchilded klutz ;)
