Oh boy - two hours in IKEA :( I only bought some frames and two bookcases, but being the person of exquisite taste I am (*ahem*), they needed to be trucked in from some depot. Didn't actually mind myself, but the waiting room was full of uptight people yelling at staff :( So from now on, I'll think twice before buying another book.

Went for Chinese and a movie (Jeepers Creepers 2 - it was OK). The bonus of the day was small notebooks at Asda for only 9p each. I get through a huge number of notebooks. Mainly through losing them rather than filling them.

OK - that wasn't very scintillating ;P

Two hours at Ikea is about all I can bear. Then I have to recover for a couple of hours or, better, the rest of the day. That place can be a serious zoo.

Nice icon - is it new?

I'm actually quite proud of myself for handling two hyperstores in a day without getting too drained. It helped to have a snack and coffee before going through Asda, and I handled IKEA by sitting in a very quiet corner with a book. It sounds really silly on paper, but I just have this horrible hatred of people with trolleys. Just adds to the stressful feeling of being jostled.

Supermarkets tend to be full of lumpen and unlovely people, all of whom seem to want to walk very slowly in front of me :/

Well done!

Heheh - thanks :) I think I have the same problem as you - nobody ever seems to look where they're going. Plus, I don't really view shopping as an interesting hobby/pastime - rather as something that just has to be done :P

Unless I'm in the mood shopping bores me.

Typicla male response (allegedly); I just want to walk in, buy what I already know I want and leave.

If I'm in the mood though you cant budge me :)
