Can you not just add a quid on to the eBay price to cover postage?

Just not worth it, with people putting theirs up for 99p "buy it now" offers. The whole thing's gone a bit insane these days. I think I was more annoyed by the explanation than the act itself- apparently the amount is set by analysis of the P&P of similar items. Which makes me wonder which came first - if it was EBay making P&P = 0, then that's a meaningless statement. As is their reason (to make things more affordable).
