Migraine

I had a migraine yesterday :(

I've always had the odd bastardly pulsing headache, but just put it down to the fact that everyone has one of those a couple of times a year. Mostly I just took a couple of co-codamol and either took it easy or battled on and it would disappear in half a day or so. But yesterday's offering transcended the boundary into full-on migraine, it seems. I felt a bit odd on Monday, but put it down to working outdoors all day. Then my vision was weird in the evening, so I just didn't play FF 13 and went to bed early instead. Then I woke about 5 (which I put down to stress) went to grab a herby tea and a ciggy and suddenly felt swimmy and sick as a parrot. Snoozed a bit more, got up, still felt crap but went for the painkillers/battle on option as it was a work day. Tried to apply mascara and realised that it was difficult to tell I was as white as a sheet because my vision was so wobbly. Ho hum.

The biggest problem with this to be honest is that it challenges my perception of self - I don't do stuff like migraines, asthma and so on. No thanks. No chronic health issues here. Other than that, from a casual google, I can't really do much other than what I already do, given that they're likely to be an infrequent occurrence. But I am going to note it down here for future reference.

i have them very occassionally, mostly due to chemicals in food(poor red wine, processed food). Take a look at what you ate. Its unlikely this is going to recur.

Thanks - my intuition is pointing its finger at my brother's dodgy Tesco basics choccy mousse. I just shouldn't have eaten it, full stop. I googled migraines, and the food diary thing seemed awful complex, so I'm not going to go there unless they become unacceptably regular
