The "fencing as fetish" five

  1. You dress in special, body-definining gear, all in one colour.
  2. If you're a woman, you get to wear special breast protectors, AKA plastic cereal bowls :)
  3. You have you're own special terminology, all in French
  4. You get to wear gauntlets
  5. You also get to smack potentially cute members of both sexes with a couple of feet of swishy whippy steel.

So, fencing = good. And a general upwards mood swing all round since yesterday. And I got a really cool Group of Seven calendar on EBay :)

Hey hun :)

Great to hear you sounding perkier! And I do like the sound of fencing ;) I did half consider taking it up at one point when a friends boyfriend starting doing it, but it never came to pass.

Oh btw, got your text, sorry to be a sloth on the reply...have have had one or two things going on here, and now I'm poorly :(
Will check those dates and get back to you asap :)

Thought you might like the sound of it - let me know if you ever take it up ... ;) And no worries about the text, although the 15th turns out not to have been such a good date after all. So, say the 22nd or the 29th?

Oh - and hope you feel better soon :) I'd hug you, but my life is chaos, and I don't want to catch it ;)

Already have that. It's called a straitjacket! *struggles*

5. You also get to smack potentially cute members of both sexes with a couple of feet of swishy whippy steel.

Red-headed women are typically sassy in my experience (probably one of the reasons why I have a preference to them), but a date with the mule sounds like it could be a close encounter with the violent kind. ;)

Tsk - what a generalisation! And what about red-headed men?

But I'm so very good at useless generalizations!

Yes indeed. What about them? *hears croaking in the background* Or were you finished? :)

Just wondered if you'd ever turned your sweeping-generalisation-searchlight on yourself :P

Hey wait....

If he made the generalization about red-headed women, aren't you the one who should be making generalizations about the men?

Just a reminder, I don't count. I'm not a full fledged red head. Just kinda red.

I only know one red headed male in the flesh, so I'd have to carelessly throw my statistically correct preferences to the wind, and say that they were all insane vegetarian poets. Factoring yourself and Mr Karrot into the generalisation does at least leave one of those descriptive variables intact.
