Allotment

Came to a good agreement with the allotment people - I can have a quarter plot, which gives me room for three decent size beds. This is all I need for bulky vegetables and a wild flower bed, and it frees up space for someone else. Went up to the allotment for an hour and started work.

I love my gardening :)

Also, it's part of the rule to all get out of the house once a day. Yesterday was an ambitious shopping trip and my first public breastfeed. It was 0ctopus' first try at changing on the road, too. Gardening was more chilled, and tomorrow I reckon we should all go for a coffee in the town centre.

When they're fed and changed and clean, they're absolutely gorgeous. The rest of the time is worth it, but I am tired.

The tiredness gets easier to cope with, just try not to do too much when he's sleeping - sleep when he does, or at least rest when he's asleep during these early days, it will help... Not that any Mum I've known (including myself) has ever followed this advice :D

How did the public breastfeed go?

It was ok - mothercare is a pretty safe zone. but i didn't fancy the nursing lounge so I sat in the general feeding area.

A nursing lounge eh? Mothercare has always been pretty good about these things (how could they get away with not being!) but a 'nursing lounge' & general feeding area sounds pretty fancy!

Great news on the allotment too!
