This Nick Cave album (No More Shall we Part) is a bit soppy, in my opinion. I like a couple of tracks, but overall I reckon Nocturama is the better listen. I also reckon that the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was a bit crap, considering the initial premise of a group of literary "X-men" led by Sean Connery.

And now I've got my nerdism out of my system (hopefully more bloke-ish than Patrick Bateman-ish), I don't feel very well :( Sore throat and glands, but not so much actually ill, more in need of staying in my pyjamas for the day, and hang around near my bed. So not all bad :)

I've heard that although the film's a bit shit, the comic books (of League of Extraordinary Gentleman) is really good.

Yeah, I did think that. They were trying to make the characters too 3-dimensional and deep, and in a two hour film about a comic book, that just doesn't work. Although I did want to go and read the books, because I definitely thought they could be good.

What I really need is for someone to take on a Sandman film project :)
