It's a quarter to five, and still really light. Many smiles - the days are lengthening!!!
I've been really busy for the past week or so, so here's the update:
Friday afternoon - flew to Prague. Saturday - walked around the Old Town and Castle in Prague and took squidillions of photos. Not only is Prague extremely pretty, it was also perfectly cloudless and sunny weather. And also bloody cold - still have slightly dry and itchy legs from walking about 10 miles a day in freezing temperatures. Sunday - walked around the New Town bit of Prague, trekked out to the National Cemetery and visited the Jewish Quarter. Bought a few cheesy souvenirs as presents for people, including a small bottle of absinthe for my brother.
Monday morning - flew back to London. Came home. Slept an hour or so (knackered!), then back out to a briefing on photgraphing listed buildings for English Heritage. I'm really looking forward to it, and it'll keep me busy over the next few months. Also gives me chance to dust off my SLR.
Tuesday - trundled off to Pembrokeshire to stay at Druidstone. Stayed in the best holiday cottage EVER! More of a shed than a cottage, but wonderful views of the sea and hills from all the windows, a woodburning stove, a large zince bath and all eco-friendly. Spent several days just looking at the sea and reading and stuff.
Had an interview, but didn't get the job. Caught up with social stuff at the weekend.
Work sucks.
