cybermuleWell, I thought I'd actually update this thing when I was feeling cheerful, rather than my usual doom and gloom ;P I had a really successful day at work today, having organised an away-day for my team where we did personality typing and team profiling and stuff. Everyone seemed to have a really good time and get a lot out of it, so that was a job well done :)
Also had a good day off yesterday - wonders will never cease! Bought some enormous chunks of rock and some cobbles to snazz up the shady area of my garden. There are ferns, a hosta, a little laurel and a foxglove there, plus a tree in a pot and an evil buddlia (eek - spelling!), and it just needs a little bit of work to make it prettier and eradicate some weeds. My trip to Thornbury was a washout as I couldn't find any parking. This didn't faze me too much though - I just indulged myself in a car-trip to the supermarket on the way back and took time to get some pictures of a nice pond on the way home.
Saw some rather cool books in the university bookshop today... must resist...
