...it's been sitting in my drawer for about 15 years :p There's nothing that mere eyeliner could do to improve my face, even if I could be bothered to use it, but it does make a very fine marker for laminate flooring :p
Unfortunately, I missed
quercus' offer of cheap carpentry (not sure if laminate counts, but it's a bugger to fit!), so it was down to just me to try and make something vaguely pleasant out of my bathroom. Not to put too fine a point on it, the guy who lived here before me couldn't piss straight if his life depended on it, the carpet was rank, the tiles were dirty and several floorboards were rotting. I'm not uptight about my house, so the depressing effect of the bathroom area was probably quite extreme to the casual observer. But no longer... no more sticky carpet or suspicious smells.
One point to note is that artex dust is nowhere near as pleasant as sawdust. But it is better at making your hair stick straight out :)
Also, contrary to popular folklore, if you lay a jigsaw flat on the plate-thingamajig it does not "pull itself through the wood". A jigsaw has no propellor, no little wheels or tiny sets of oars. So as I very much suspected, unless you apply pressure, it just jiggles up and down pointlessly on the spot :p
