I'm not actually sure what to say about this weekend. I'll report the trivia, but it seems to be one of those little slices of your life that spins your head around and leaves you a new and slightly different person.
Friday was Alton Towers day, with R and J, plus our respective partners. I've finally broken my fear of rollercoasters - went on Nemesis twice, once of the front, both times with my eyes open. It just isn't scary any more :/ Went on Air twice, Oblivion, misc others, including a couple of new ones. Saw my normally loud colleague looking slightly green ;D
Great day, that seems left me with a visible healthy glow, which people seem to love commenting on ;P
Saturday morning was spent strimming my mother's lawn. While she kept pointing out bits that I'd missed, and telling me that none of the mess is hers. Sigh. And her lovely boyfriend is coming to visit for a week, which stressed me out entirely :(
Seem to have lost the stress over the course of Saturday afternoon :|
Went out in the evening, much fun. Sunday was spent chilling, as I was completely drained. Completely happy, but definitely needing chill time. Cleaned the house, read, had a couple of beers with the BF.
Booked all my Canadian accommodation today. That's about all I've managed to achieve, other than booking other holidays. My body is here, but my brain is SO elsewhere.
