Twilight spa

Had part of my Christmas present from 0ct0pus last night - a twilight spa at Center Parcs. Lots of fragrant steam rooms, sitting around relaxing in expensive face masks, and playing in an outdoor heated jacuzzi pool.

That really does feel like decadence. It was all turquoise, and lit up, and steamy. You could lie back and watch the stars.

Mmmmm.

This afternoon, I'm getting a fire fitted in my lounge. All luxury from here on in...

Oh that sounds lovely! I'm going for a massage and facial next Friday. That's going to be good. Pampering is good for the soul. :-)

It is really really nice. I love the Center Parcs spa because it has so many different rooms to sit in - I can only relax so long ;) And I'm excited, because they're adding new rooms in the spring! You're right - it's a wonderful thing to pamper yourself, and actually quite hard to do. I was always really puritanical, barely spending money on a moisturiser without feeling guilty. Now I sit around in steamy pools on the night of the Winter Solstice, and it feels a hell of a lot better than an extra £X in the bank :)

So you enjoy your massage and facial every bit as much as you deserve :)
