10k run

Done! In 82 minutes, which is rather good considering it was an absolute mud-bath for the first 3k, then had a stinky great hill. The best bit was the last 1k, which I ran with a really lovely lady.

Now I need to find another one in January/February. Preferably one not ankle deep in mud for a third of the course :/

wow!!! 1:22 is a great time for your first 10k! I am very impressed :) We are getting a treadmill on Wednesday so perhaps I will train along with you for a January/Feb run. I've been needing a kick in the pants... and an indoor machine since it has already snowed up here once :(

I think it was - I've not had anything to compare it too, but the bloke behind me just did the GNR, and reckoned that was actually easier than yesterday. So I'm pleased enough :)
