Things to do in the garden when I can see my feet again...

More bark chips
Top off the herb and desert beds with bricks
Fix the coping on the front wall
Put edging round the bark beds
get more slate chips
rearrange shrubbery

Of course, if anyone knows someone who can do cement work (bricks, fixing the pebbledash round the front door etc) I'd be happy to pay for a day's work - can't afford too much, but it would be a fairly relaxed environment :)

I finally made a start at some gardening today, after putting it off for far too long!

I think my lawn has had it though. It's got loads of weeds and huge bare patches that were covered in moss before I removed it all, leaving just bare earth now. Any tips for rescuing a seriously knackered lawn? :/

Get a box of combined seed and fertiliser. And don't mow it too often for a while.
