I have a tiny cucumber appeared on the plant in my greenhouse. Considering the events of this year, I'm pretty gosh-darn chuffed :)

I also have a successional planting plan for my allotment. It won't kick in properly until next year, but it's going to be good.

Hmmmm - cucumbers the stroppy teenagers of the vegetable garden. Ours sulk, wilt, play dead (its too hot, too much sun, not enough sun, my pots too small, I preferred my other pot, the dog brushed my leaves.....)

Any excuse and they swoon and pretend to be ex-cucumbers. We have taken to ignoring them - and they seem to be doing OK.

I've never fussed over mine, so t was quite a surprise. Now I've noticed it, it HAS started to look a bit wilty.
