cybermuleI think I'll use the entire weird stock of stationery I've accumulated since my childhood in writing Ben's thank you notes. I only hope 0ct0pus' family appreciate Fungus the Bogeyman notecards.
Yesterday I had a wicked time at the Aboretum. Got to wander round with a radio and high-vis jacket, troubleshooting exhibitors' erections ;) Which translates to asking the electrician things and pointing out toilets and stop-taps, but it was nonetheless fun.
This morning I took Ben to baby massage classes, which he really enjoyed. He's getting way more alert and wakeful, and his nights may have settled into missing the late evening feed - he's going from 8-2, then 2-6. which is quite tolerable. Fingers crossed it stays that way :)
We're going to Cornwall for the weekend - camping at Bodmin, and going to see Octopodes and gardens. I was trying to be thrifty this weekend, but I really might splash out on the Lost Gardens of Heligan. It's expensive, but I so want to see them. Maybe dive into a few NT places too. Looking forward to it, especially as my shorts now fit.
