Well I was doing 2 miles (1 mile gently downhill, then back the other way gentle up hill - killer!) Monday, Wednesday, then nearly 3miles on a Friday if I was feeling ok for it...that's the run that goes through the estate, then back cross country over the hills back to the house. I managed 1 mile on Monday - so that's 1/2 mile downhill, 1/2 mile up hill. I guess I could have pushed myself to do the same run as before the holiday but didn't want to push it. I was really disappointed, but today i'm feeling a bit more philosophical about it. I promised myself I wasn't going to get hung up on this kind of thing after coming back from Greece, so if this is what I need to do for a couple few weeks to get back into it, so be it :)
I'm doing QiGiong on the days in-between running. Only takes about 20 minutes though the routine can be extended for much longer if desired. I'd really like to get into the yoga though - maybe a short routine after the QiGiong? Possibly, we shall see come the new year :)
