(no subject)

Just got given a couple of series 3 Futurama DVDs, so I know what I'll be doing tonight. Bleh - work is dull. I've only been back less than a day, and I'm too bored to carry on :/

Went over to my brother's on Sunday for curry and videos. He actually bought me a curry!!! This is the first time Jake has ever paid for anything - no exaggeration!!! 'Twas a nice curry too.

Spent Monday filling my bedroom with fragrant smoke and reading Steppenwolf. I really enjoyed it - at the risk of sounding like a cheesy Lit student, it spoke to me, and prompted a few ideas that I'll follow up. Maybe I'll actually write about them some time, but I seem too busy at the moment to do all the things I want to. Actually, I'm getting bad at procrastinating again - I've lost all my energy and most days I want to curl up in my duvet-cave and be left alone to ponder. People keep telling me that it's only to be expected, and that I'll bounce back soon, but I'm starting to worry as I don't want to go back to my mental slump. Hmmm.

Went back to work this morning feeling like I could easily manage another week's break. The only good things were the Futurama DVDs (thanks, Mark :)) and my book on FolkLore had arrived. The rest of the day is just interfering with my need to sit and think.

OK - just over an hour until I can go home. Let's hope I make it that far, without my head exploding...
