Re. Registering as self employed...I down loaded and filled out the forms online here. I also registered to be let of my national insurance contributions as it's unlikely I'll earn enough in the tax year to warrant paying it. Also, if you think you're income is likely to be quite low until things kick off, register for help with NHS costs. I know my circumstances are a little different, what with the kids, but I got my certificate though this week...fee eye tests, dental treatment, prescriptions etc, a great help :)

Well... yes. They've ripped out the swimming pool, erected a garden shed, replaced the carpeting, painted the living room and kitchen taupe, and the upstairs hallway was supposed to be painted the same dusky-pink as the wallpaper on the stairs, but it wound up Pepto-Bismol pink instead.

Dad says they were going to paint my room black and turn it into a bondage dungeon, but didn't get around to it.

He is letting me use his laptop..he is cooking a veggie stirfry now...hopefully that will make me feel better. I can't wait until Springtime..
I haven't done much online research today... just got up from a nap....hehe..and I am supposed to be making vegan icing. I was going to post some of these on vegan candy lj. maybe tomorrow....just catching up on email and posts. :)

I registered when I filled out my tax and self employment registration form as I remember. There's a little section where they ask you if you think you'll earn below a certain amount, That being the case, you can apply for exemption :)
