I'm a O90-C58-E22-A44-N49 Big Five!!

The full results:

Openness to Experience/Intellect: High scorers tend to be original, creative, curious, complex; Low scorers tend to be conventional, down to earth, narrow interests, uncreative.

RESULT: You enjoy having novel experiences and seeing things in new ways (Your percentile: 90)
COMMENT: yah-boo-sucks to whoever was dumb enough to get themselves a low score :P I'm wondering if this correlates to the N/S axis of MBTI. Either way, I would say that this fits and is borne out by my interest ist :P

Conscientiousness: High scorers tend to be reliable, well-organized, self-disciplined, careful; Low scorers tend to be disorganized, undependable, negligent.

RESULT: You are neither organized or disorganized (Your percentile: 58)
COMMENT: I just compensate for my natural procastination by having a lot of energy. Guess maybe this is the J/P axis?

Extraversion: High scorers tend to be sociable, friendly, fun loving, talkative; Low scorers tend to be introverted, reserved, inhibited, quiet.

RESULT: You tend to shy away from social situations (Your percentile: 22)
COMMENT: yeah - fair enough :) I'm not sure how much of this is brought on by life experience. I'd say I was about average - I don't bubble or effuse, but then I'm not really inhibited. Guess everyone thinks they're average though...

Agreeableness: High scorers tend to be good natured, sympathetic, forgiving, courteous; Low scorers tend to be critical, rude, harsh, callous.

RESULT: You are neither extremely forgiving nor irritable (Your percentile: 44)
COMMENT: Hey - I'm quite agreeable! Honestly ;) Although I think I'm slowly getting to the point in life where I don't really feel the need to suck up to people.

Neuroticism: High scorers tend to be nervous, high-strung, insecure, worrying; Low scorers tend to be calm, relaxed, secure, hardy.

RESULT: You aren't particularly nervous, nor calm (Your percentile: 49)
COMMENT: heh - just a case of extremes averaging out :p Some things wind me up - I'm crap at dealing with new relationships, for example, and I worry a lot. But then a lot of things just don't faze me at all - I'm pretty immune to peer pressure and social stress.

Whoa never expected I was that disagreeable... sheesh! I admit though that I was trying to paint myself slightly more disagreeable than I usually appear to be, so I may have gone too far and painted myself in a terrible light when I only expected it to slightly affect the results. :P

Other than that it sounds about right, altho I felt there weren't enough questions. Some of them I knew that my answer was gonna skew stuff more than it should. Like I am quite organized in most things IMO, but I came out very disorganized. And I'm not that introverted but the questions mostly fit to situations in which I'm introverted, or at least that's the impression I got overall.

Anyway I'm not putting too much weight on the results seeing as how they don't even compare to a normal sample population, the results are relative to the people who took the online test, which seems kinda pointless. :/ Also seems kinda impossible... I'm more introverted than 83% of those who take the online version?? Right...

Hah. Don't worry about it - I spend a lot of time trying to portray myself as a cynical, crappy old git. But I don't think anyone really takes enough notice.

I didn't really read the bit that said it compared ony to people that took the test, I must admit. But while I was procrastinating filing stuff from my intray at work today, I found some personality report that compares you to a better sample, and breaks it down by gender too. So maybe I'll get around to scanning that and posting it, then you can use it to rescale your results. Or not, depending on whether you feel the nerdy-need :)

I tried to do the Big 5 today, and I couldn't do it... Basically I figured it's not the right time for me to do these kinds of tests anymore. So I went and read your results. And then I was intrigued and went back and tried to do it, and it was pretty easy. So whether or not I'd be able to go through another, I have no idea. :)

Heheh - stop with the tests then, please. In my humble opinion, for most smart people they're both boring and self-defeating :) I did this one because you mentioned it and piqued my interest, but mostly I'm just "not another fucking test, pleeeease!".

What I meant was that the variables on the Big 5 test were fairly similar to those on one I did at work. Mainly due to over-caffeinated stats-geekdom, I was going to compare the two tests to find out how my "Big 5" results fitted into the population as a whole. If I ever get around to it, and assuming I get anything useful, I'll happily do the same for yours :)
