Dec. 27th, 2003 11:37 pmHad a couple of weird dreams recently. The shortest was one where I was just being chased down a log-flume by my mother's new "boyfriend". I use the parentheses to try and suppress my urge to projectile vomit at the slightest thought of the faintest concept of that notion, because Gordon is fairly annoying. I mentioned him as setting my assburger-antennae wobbling once before, and since then I had a run-in with him that nearly came to blows due to his unprovoked agressive tendencies. Anyway, I dreamed that I was racing down all these log-flumes and that he was always a few seats behind me trying to grab hold of me.
The next dream was longer, but it was in three unconnected separate parts, so maybe that counts as three dreams. The first part was set in a crummy, dirty trailer. I had to live there and clean it up, and the only person with me was VC from work, who I don't particulalry get on with, but have to work with on occasion. I did actually used to live on a trailer-park (well, 6 mobile homes right out in the middle of nowhere), but when I was living there, my house was a caravan, rather than the sort of portacabin that featured in my dream. I was a bit lucid and had minimal control, because I know I had to find a room to stay in that faced East, and I was consciously going through and trying doors. The sun rose through the bedroom window in my real-life trailer, and when the sun rose in my dream, I switched to a new scene.
This "part 2" was much more easy to tie in with my real life situation. I had the dream a few days before Christmas, and I dreamed I was phoning my dad to say Happy Christmas. He was alive, and divorced from my mum, and I had to phone him in Australia where he was living with his new wife and step-kids. I remembering him complaining that he thought the step-kids had something wrong, that they were autistic or something because "they screamed like sirens". And I was joking around, saying that I guess my brother and I weren't so bad after all. And he said no - that he preferred the new family by far. And he was serious and really hurt my feelings, so I yelled at him and said it couldn't be that great if he was still an alcoholic, that he'd ruin that family too. Yuck :(
Then it cut to the third part, where I was swimming along this really narrow canal. The water was very clear, and the towpath and stones of the canal glowed brilliant white. I often have this combination of brilliance and water in my dreams - once I dreamed that I was running along this endless white pier, with my old dog swimming alongside me, and another time I dreamed that all the world had been drowned in brilliant blue sea, with shining white statues poking up every so often. And these dreams were a long long time ago, before I watched "requiem for a dream" or "waterworld" ;) But in the current dream I suddenly found that although the water had always been crystal pure, I suddenly had to cut through this tangle of lily-like weeds to get into a tunnel. I was slashing a path through, and when I got into the tunnel, I met my cat. We both had to fight past this bulldog to finally break out the tunnel.

OK so is it normal that there isn't anything in this post? :P
Is it hidden/private or something... But if it were, would I even be able to enter here and comment?
Did you write it in black light ink, or white font? (nope checked both)
