Well, I'm back. The trip was OK, if somewhat gruelling. Cambridge was exceedingly posh - very smart hotel, and very posh town, so I'm looking forward to going back :) Heh - or as much as you ever do. Saw the Angel of the North in real life, and it was far better than its pictures.

Not a lot else to say really, but it's a lovely day over here.

It's one of the few bits of modern art that I've ever really taken to (along with Coventry Cathedral (http://www.coventry.org.uk/heritage2/places/cathedral/cathedral1.htm), and the guy who made it interested me with his level of commmitment to his art.

Personally I just think it looks good, and acts as a reminder of the the iron/ship industries in that area.
