...time seems to be a scarce commodity right now. But at the weekend, I went to the V festival. Mainly to see the Pixies, and they rocked :) They even played "Wave of Mutilation" twice, so you can't ask for more than that.

N.E.R.D. and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club both bear further investigation, although BRMC mostly seemed to be The Stooges. Which is no bad thing, just not original. Saw a couple of DJs whose names escape me right now. Also saw the Thrills (less than thrilling) and the Scissor Sisters. Who are crap. Camp, yes, but that just makes camp crap. Sorry.

*ducks*

Also went to Alton Towers. Oblivion, Nemesis, Hex. Can't moan, but the queues were off-putting.

And Matt and Trey (South Park) are doing a film:

All hail and bow to Trey's cute'n'wacky, piano-playing genius :)

Sounds awesome - haven't been to good series of concert goings in quite a while, long while. Lately mine were club outings, mostly hip hop, club hits, some house ... groove music. ;)

Pixies? You know, I had heard of them ... the name has always sounded familair to me, though I'm never quite sure I had actually heard them ... so I donwloaded some MP3s, nope, never heard 'em before. I had read that Modest Mouse, especially the early stuff, sounded a lot like the Pixies. Now I know what they meant.

Um, no point to this comment. Sorry. :)
