A certain London uni mainly specialising in financial studies has arsed up their file (rant here) yet again. And Comet won't fix my laptop, as they sent me on a wild goose chase that took me over the end of my warranty.

I went to see the new Star Wars film, which I really liked. Entertaining, full of eye candy, and slightly tragic. All good :)

And I went on the Arts trail in Southville and caught up with my friend.

There's much more to my weekend, but I'm so damn busy!

Holiday tomorrow.

Wibble.

hello there....
Good, I can chat w/ you. ;) Everyone at work has yet to see it.
I didn't see the first two of this trilogy...and haven't seen the original series since they were in the theater.
With that said...(and I know Lucas has to explain how Anakin became Darth...but-

Slightly tragic? ;) After watching how Palpatine manipulated Anakin...and how he destroyed his life....I felt devastated.
He used him to do the one thing that was important for him to not to have happen-- to keep Padme alive and safe. How romantically tragic...
And how anyone could survive his limbs cut off and on fire...ugh.
I will have to see this again. I also felt for Yoda...

Have you seen a stuffed toy Yoda? I saw the action figure...

LOL - OK, very tragic. I was trying to be all hard and tough, but I actually spent most of the film trying not to cry.

Haven't seen a stuffed toy yoda :/

Trying not to cry ;) Oh the tears welled up ...

I looked at the official site...no toy :( I did see a model Yoda that was ten inches high made of rubber...but kids had ruined it...so I'm still looking. Have you seen the action figures?

What eye-candy? It was like all athletic, muscular Jedis with cool toys kicking arse for the cause of good and just. Oh yeah, and Natalie. But still, hot, sweaty men waving glowing sticks around and screaming in a language nobody knows isn't eye-candy! Oh wait, there's still Natalie. And a crippled little green man who can somehow magically float and talk funny...oh, never mind. Mmm, Natalie.

Oh why do these things always have to be so difficult??

I was thinking CGI-candy, to be honest :) Natalie doesn't really do it for me.
