Meh. Busy weekend.

Started off with a good dose of cyberviolence with a UT2003 clan gathering. If you're really into UT2003 and want to stare at our geeky screenshots, go here!. Otherwise, just stay clear.

I know I was busy on Saturday, but it seems to have turned into a blur. I know I went to the shopping centre to pick up some photos, and it was inexplicably full of small children, raffle stalls and clowns. Was tempted to assault McDonalds recruitment stall, kick it over yelling "capitalist bastards" and run away, but decided that being arrested probably wasn't worth it :) Went to see OtherWorld at the cinema and decided that it was OK. Not to everyone's tastes, and the live action bits were unspeakably lame, but it had a nice early 80s cartoon feel to it, the soundtrack was good and I enjoyed the mythology. On a less cultural note, I did notice an Oriental Buffet had opened up near to CineWorld, which is one less reason to go to Craps Causeway. I'm deprived of the pleasure of driving through muttering "mammon" to myself, but that energy can probably be channelled more usefully :)

Sunday was gardening day. I cleared yet more rubble out of my back garden. It seems to be endless... it breeds... it spreads... it fornicates vilely to beget yet more rubble, but I did unearth a square of paving slabs that I had never before seen. New territory! Also chucked down another sackful of slate chips and put in three more plants, visited the garden centre, dug out my slippers and pipe and had a nice warm mug of cocoa ;P And returning to one of my less horticultural alter-egos, I went out for a meal and finished my essay. On reflection, probably relatively few people play UT2003 and visit garden centres in the same weekend.

Chilling the rest of my evening away. Monday tomorrow! Work! Buttsticks!
