Jul. 4th, 2003 08:19 pmPhew! Feeling considerably better than I did a few hours ago, when I made my last post. Mainly due to removing myself from the sources of irritation. We really need barriers in that office - I can't stand listening to the girl opposite me one moment longer. She simpers, she whines, she goes on about how busy she is while eating copious amounts of ice-cream and yapping on the phone to her mates. Although, to be honest, I think the irritation was at least partly due to me, as everyone seemed to be annoying today :)
Anyway, after getting home, eating snacks, having a good cry and taking a shower I feel back to my old self. Nothing like snivelling into a musty old cat to cheer you up ?!?

Think I'll get my act together to go and see that some time this weekend. Other than that, I'm going to take it very easy and do some work in the garden. Someone told me that my life seemed very scheduled today - I was quite hurt by that. Made me sound like some uptight diary freak :( Sure, I have stuff planned always, but I don't want to just waste my life *sniff*
Ooo - I bought myself a cheesy gargoyle yesterday. Expect a picture some time soon, but it was a bargain from the little hippy shop down the road. Bit sad really - it's closing down, so now as well as losing a nice local shop, I'll have to travel into the city centre for any decent candles or incense. I also wonder what will come into the vacant shop? It's only a little row, with that plus a general store, charity shop, chippy and hairdresser. Hard to know what would fit in there.
