Phew ... it's the weekend...

Brief update/random thoughts

Started Thursday feeling like shit. Mood improved on self-medication with a small amount of ephedrine. Now have salvia coming out of my ears, as I bought a cheap heap of fresh stuff, then got some added onto that free :D In fact, now have drugs in general coming out of my ears as my friend also got me some excellent and cheap hash. So I'm nicely set up for my holiday. Only two more work days!!

Work has been manic. Too much to do before I go on leave. But I've actually managed to get my shit together and get through the work. Probably due to small amounts of ephedrine + large amounts of coffee. Also managed to gently tease one of my colleagues with my "Hugh Grant does data-analysis" impression. Now I feel some sort of closure from being told that policy officers were so much smarter than analysts because they could "talk intelligently about anything, even stuff that they don't know about".

*snorts derisively*

Heheh - also managed to acquire some goodies on EBay - a book on Greek Mythology for a few quid that also entails a trip to the coast to collect it, and a "possessed by goblins" t-shirt. If you're going to have a logo, make sure it's at least interesting :) That may even beat my "do you like your 3d virtual world that your TV mountain bike gave" tank top. Great conversation starter, that one:
