(no subject)

Whoo. Back from an insane couple of days. There was a lot of paddling, a lot of rain and a lot of mosquitoes. But it was fantastic. And now I'm going to take a long hot shower :)

La vie, c'est tres bien!

Came back from a truly excellent day out in Montreal with unsane1, and pottered past piles of fresh bagels and croissants (breakfast!) to make myself a cup of chamomile tea.

Had a hot shower and slathered my lacerated skin with aloe vera.

Headed up to bed, and found my hostel landlady had turned my rank, blood'n'sweat soaked camping clothes into something fresh and fluffy.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! :)

And I did French several times today with nobody laughing at the dumb Anglaise.
