I've come to kill ya monstah!!!!!
Nov. 20th, 2007 11:08 amBeowulf was both better and worse than I expected. Once I get over the fact that it wasn't really Beowulf, I quite like it. This week I also saw and enjoyed Brick Lane.
Went to do some gardening for B and L. That was fun, but their bastard dog bit everyone except Ben, and I don't think that last one was for lack of trying. I love the pair of them, and even the bloody dog, but badly trained mutts really annoy me.
Went to a Twisted Toadstool event, which was great fun. At least until the point where our designated driver decided he was getting shit-faced and staying until 5 in the morning. Hmph. I need to either examine my own narcotic habits (which aren't actually that demanding) or my choice of company, as going out with my brother repeatedly leaves me in uncomfortable situations.
In other news, I have definitely one and maybe two tickets for Bill Bailey going spare. It's tomorrow night in Cardiff, so bleat via mail if you want them.
