I've been working a lot recently. I'm looking forward to next week, when I just work the one day.
Sunday was sociable - went for lunch with my aunt and uncle. I was dreading it, but it turned out ok in the end. And then we saw
malcygoff for a pint in the evening, which was better than ok :)
Monday, I took the midget for a walk on Symonds Yat. Following a great family parenting tradition of teaching the next generation what happens when WEATHER GOES BAD!!!! The Wye was hugely swollen, which meant an essential trip back and forwards across Bibblins Bridge (sp?), several high speed splashes through knee deep water in the mommy-mobile, then watching giant haybales float solemnly by while we had wine and flapjack. That last bit reminded me of a scene from Deliverance.
Going hiking at the weekend, then, like I said, just the one day of work next week.
