House sorting

I've finally cleaned up the spare bedroom, so my new lodger can move in on Monday. Fingers crossed she won't be a complete psycho. It looks nice - I put the red curtains from my room in there, and there's going to be a red rug too.

I have new curtains in my room. They're dark blue, with light blue stars on, and some rather pissed off looking bats.

And I can see some of the floor in the spare room.

Left to do:

Phone man AGAIN about dad's stamp collection
Put stuff in loft
Tidy my room
Give the rest of the house a quick spritz before monday.

I'll try to do all that by the time I go to bed on Monday evening.

are you going to try to break it all down between now and next monday--or how do you find it best to tackle your lists?

I generally have short term goals for the next 3-7 days, then break them down into slots each day. Today I knew I had a couple of spare hours when I had to be home, so I phoned the stamp man and did some cleaning. I know my ex is coming around on Saturday, so I'll get him to help with the loft stuff. And I have to be in on MOnday night, so I'll clean my room then. And that's about as far as it goes - I kind of try to leave my brain in a liquid state about the whole thing, if that makes sense.
