We were in Salt Lake City and the general area (Lehi, West Jordan) last month. Absolutely everyone seems to be married, and have multiple kids, which was a bit weird to me, but at least they're friendly. Americans WILL talk to you, too, and decide you have a cute accent, so be warned. Vegas is just surreal.

Going to Utah? Awesome! I love Utah. Went out to the western states once with the family a little over 10 years ago - utah was my favorite part of the trip. As it was a family affair, I only got to see the main attractions of the state. I'm sure there are plenty more. Still, Arches National Park was excellent and especially Zion National Park. Better break out your camera - you'll love it! Breathtaking scenery.

Well, zleetle and I are going round some of the National Parks in Utah, doing some camping and hiking. I was going to speak to you about meeting up, because I'd love that, but I never really get my head around the scale of the US, and what's really feasible.

So what would work for you? You're welcome to come along camping, or we could meet up in Vegas for a bit?
