Brighton rocks
Jun. 8th, 2006 05:53 pmWell, 3 days in sunny Brighton to attend a union conference ain't bad. I forgot how good Brighton was - it used to be my favouritest place when I was about 18, but I've only visited it fleetingly since.
Conference is way more interesting than anticipated. My hotel is next to a mini Chinatown. I ate the best sushi ever last night, and tomorrow I'm braving the sea. I went to the Sealife aquarium, and saw two octopus. Ironically, it smelt of fish and chips :)

Date: 2006-06-09 02:37 pm (UTC)I had the best weekend there a couple of years ago when it was really hot and sunny. Sitting on the pebble beach looking out to sea was just like being on the Med!
