Shovelling dirt

Finished my first proper paid garden makeover today. I carried about 3/4 tonne of gravel into the garden, so it's fair to assume I must have also carried about the same weight of soil out. Paid workouts. It looked really nice at the end of it, though.

I've been gardening for two days solid. I think I went slightly nuts in the process.

Just a few more things to do before bed. Then a stupidly early start. In that other work thing that I do.

Woohoo!! Working all day and seeing something pretty at the end of it AND getting paid for it - why am I not still landscaping??? (perhaps the 3/4 ton of gravel has something to do with it...)

Thanks MB! We might just have to pencil a day in, so long as it's not pissing down I'm happy to garden rain or shine. Maybe if I did it on a Saturday, we could finish off with a boogie later on? I can definitely feel a girls night coming on ;)

I'm sure between the three of us we could get my poor neglected jungle in some sort of shape! Though I warn you in advance, I'm exceptionally clueless at all things garden-related and seem to have the opposite of green fingers... :/

Aha!! I see you've spotted my tactics already!

Traditionally when anyone has offered to do something to my garden I've tried to make up for my ineptitude by getting busy in the kitchen.

Growing things is definitely not my forte but cooking and eating them most certainly is!.. ;)
