The Mayflower is pretty good (full of Chinese people good), despite a most unappealing location! Veggies (typically) don't have a huge choice, but there is some, it's clearly identified and it's good.
Go to the James Barton roundabout Bearpit, then walk down the underpass towards the bus station. It's on the bottom floor there, on the left.
