Vegetables

I have loads of vegetable seeds sprouting, and either today or Friday I'll be planting out the salads. I'm also going to grow spuds in containers this year, to see what happens. Don't think I'll be making it up to the allotment over much.

I'm also going to use tesco's delivery trays as pplanting boxes, with a bit of spiffing up using some spare wood.

Our spuds are in - got loads last year, enough for me and hippy for three months in just three containers.

Theres one last frost forecast overnight next week - so I would be careful putting your salads out just yet if they on the smallish side. We lost loads last year in our haste to free the seeds from the house/greenhouse

Thanks for the headsup - seems hard to believe, doesn't it? Luckily, nothing with leaves has left the greenhouse yet.

What size containers did you use for the spuds?
