(no subject)

Finished the very final essay of my OU course :) But sssh - don't tell anyone 'cos I'm going to use it as an excuse to get out of visiting my mother tomorrow ;) I have to go and cart things about for my brother in the afternoon, so I really need the morning as some "alone" time.

It's weird to have finished all my coursework. I've got an exam in October, so I'm not all done, but this course has spanned a landmark year for me. It was born out of emotion, it carried me through traumatic times, and now it's ending I'm probably going to feel a little strange. I'll be doing more stuff in February (not counting a dayschool on meditation in November), so until the Spring I've resolved to buy no more books (yeah, right!) and to quietly read and reflect on a few different things, gather some strength and try and make good plans for the New Year.

In the mean time, some celebratory Thai Noodles are in order - it's a bit late, but I'm bloody starving! Plus, I have a cast-iron stomach :)
