Start as you mean to go on...

... 17 days later than you should have. This was supposed to be a daily diary to chart my life after a big birthday on the 13th April. As is always the way with my plans, it is late *grins*. There are lots of reasons for suddenly starting this, most of which I'll go into at some point, but mainly I want an actual record of my life, as it seems to go past so bloody fast...

Anyway, first and most importantly, before I forget, big grinny thanks to radixlecti and ninneviane for rustling up an LJ code.

Secondly, a quick update of the 17 days I've missed:


13/04/03: my birthday! I got the Sims, so with that and curry munching, the day was pretty much sorted.

Can't remember what happened for the next few days (just work) but:

15 - 17 April was a business trip to Worcester. The business part was actually over in a day, so I got to enjoy the charms of Worcester - cathedrals, bookshops, sunny riverside idling and damn fine cappuccino and bagels. This will eventually be documented on the photos page of my website :)

Easter weekend involved more curry, Sims and lounging about. Also went on a UT clan outing to watch an Ingmar Bergman film and lounge around in the comfy chairs at the Hotel de Vin in Bristol, swilling red wine and munching the freebie olives.

The next week was kind of blurry -mostly work and doing a stack of gardening in my back yard, which is finally looking less than crappy. Got lumbered with a massive new project at work - many kudos if I can manage a big wedge of code and documentation before 9th May. Heh - yeah, right! Combine that with a 2000 word essay on discourse communities and you have one busy Cybermule...

Thanks :) I'm just glad that adding friends worked - nobody appeared for a while, so I was panicking!! This is fun - endless opportunities to geek around with the style...

It takes a bit to get used to but it's all in the FAQ as you've already figured.

I need to change my layout too 'cos I'm getting bored of my current one. Shame I don't have the time or resources to do it though. Ah well...

I can understand the time thing. I haven't got time to scratch my nose at the moment :) What resources would you need - PC/internet stuff?
