Day off tomorrow!
Oct. 14th, 2003 04:15 pmOof! I'm bored. Today is full of difficult people and tedious meetings. On the bright side, the sky (above the hideous concrete university buildings) is quite attractive. Kind of grey and gold marbling.
Never really noticed the sky until about a year ago, when I decided to start looking up rather than down.

Date: 2003-10-16 02:15 pm (UTC)Probably makes a bigger difference where you are. Here in Texas the only difference seems to be whether the sun looks yellow or white (yellow in summer, white in winter for some reason).
added bonus = not getting burned the second I step out of the door... sensitive redhead!
I get that to. I spent three years of my life pretty much permanently sunburned. I attributed it to my Cherokee blood, but you know, I am decended from red-heads (my dad had bright orange hair actually, I'm grateful I just inherited a few highlights)!

Date: 2003-10-17 01:23 pm (UTC)Hey - red hair is the true path to righteousness! Only those whose souls have been tested by 20 years of being called "Duracell" shall inherit the earth.

Date: 2003-10-17 02:31 pm (UTC)I've been called that a time or two, but only with regards to certain pictures of me. I've gotten "lobster" on a much more consistent basis (for multiple reasons).
And I wasn't ragging on red hair. I have nothing against it. It can be quite attractive. HOWEVER, it did not look attractive on my dad (he was completely gray last I saw him, well first I saw him in memory as well) and I look an aweful lot like him when he was my age. I don't think it would be very appealing on me *shudder* I did inherit his beard color though, which is strange... A nearly blonde beard and dark brown hair...
Everything in my life is weird!

Yeah - I take after my dad. I'm not sure that works so well if you're a girl. oh well - at least I don't seem to have inherited the early greying... my brother got that card in the genetic shuffle.

*grins*

heh - I hear that. Sometimes I think I'm a changeling, mostly I just wonder if all those people with really normal-looking lives think that their life is as strange as mine seems to be.

Heh, I inherited just about everything bad from either side of the family. I got the bad back (made worse by an injury), bad eyes, bad habits... Any year now I'm expecting to wake up bald with cancer, dementia, and diabetes (course since I don't go to doctors I'll never know so oh well!)

I consider myself a personality chameleon. My personality always seem to get close to whoever I'm around. It's rather creepy. As a result I try not to wonder about the "normal people". Besides that there is no such thing as a normal person. The entire world is populated by psycho's! Except me, I may be an anti-social, delusional, paranoid freak, but I am not psycho!

Mmm - I get that. It's got better for the past year or two. Not sure why - I think I'm just becoming less interested in people and more sure of my own self. It's weird though - I get what you're saying.
I am not psycho!
lol. if you say so :P
