Just had a phonecall asking if my publication was available for download. Yes - it's on our website. Where? Under the link that says "download publications" :P I find it hard to not sound sarcastic on a monday morning *sigh*
Soooo... the weekend that was. Little brother came over with his GF on Friday evening. Spent the evening chilling around my dinner table, introducing my brother to the joy of pineapple and jalapeno pizza. I think I have a convert :) Also watched the Wicker Man, and, as usual, got to bed stupidly late. All trouped down to see Mum on Saturday morning - took her shopping and stuff. There's a new nutter living in her next door flat *sigh* I don't like him - he was stood right outside my mom's door, staring in, as we were all leaving for the supermarket. It's crowded in front of her house, so we were all kind of milling about to get around the blockage caused by him. And he was stood there talking about how he thought we were giving him some kind of "problem" (stupid finger-wavey quotes are his own). Bet you 10p he turns out to be a pain- quicker we get her moved, the better, as that whole situation is causing a bit of a family meltdown. Then took brother and girlfriend to B&Q, so they could bicker about paint *grins* and ran them back to Stroud. Very hectic 24 hours, but still fun.
Chilled out on Saturday night and slowly caught up on email and other bits and pieces. I think I got a fairly early night, but I was a bit spaced out and can't really remember what I did. Ooo - bought glow-in-the-dark stars from a shop near my mom's house to stick on my beroom ceiling. pretty neat :) Sunday - went to the cinema, ate mexican, took a bath and slacked in front of the TV for a while. There was a neat program on superstrings, but unfortunately I crashed out half way through and didn't wake up until some countdown of the best #1 singles.
All in all, good balance was achieved between work, rest and play.
