Nov. 28th, 2003 09:22 pmWashed my hair for the first time since my haircut. It doesn't look quite as good as it did, but then I didn't spend 40 minutes arsing about with straighteners and a hairdrier. To do that, I would have had to own straighteners and a hairdrier :p I spent about 1 minute in it, and it looks more than 1/40 as good, so bingo! :p
Got roped into acting as observer/reported for pay negotiations at work. Don't know why they picked me, but they inveigled me into it by telling me I was the only person who could do it. Story of my life really.
Weekend plans have become muddled, due to my mother visiting her parents. Which is fine, but means I can't fit doing her weekly shopping into the gap after my meditation class and so will have to do it on Sunday. Poo. I was hoping for a totally free day, but at least it's propelled me into deciding to have next weekend totally off from stuff like that. So I'm off to Exeter for the day, and if I come home in time to do more stuff, off to Clearwell Caves for the uber-cheesy Christmas event. Last year it was SO amazingly kitsch and trippy :)
Oh, and my CV is slowly coming together. It's just hard work, so I'm going to set a more realistic deadline. Especially as my weekend has become confuzzled. I'll try and finish the CV (at least) and maybe the accompanying letter and 150 word blurb by the end of the weekend. Any left over bits will get done on Wednesday, along with planting some bulbs.

Date: 2003-12-06 02:20 am (UTC)Notice how I respond to my mails and stuff in spurts. I get the classic "get things done in a big burst", with extremely long periods of "get nothing done" in between. :P The last couple hours have been extremely productive, I must say!

Date: 2003-12-16 09:20 am (UTC)Yeah - that's a good point. I'd never really thought about it. Hairdriers are just another of those useless bits of tat that you really can do without :p
