I'm surrounded by fireworks. Rather good ones too - purple ones that shower stars, ones with spiral flares and green rockets that shoot through the sky, and explode into a dangling puff of magenta smoke.

So sod off 2003, and here's hoping that 2004 brings peace, happiness and better living :)

Hmm, I didn't see much in the way of fireworks. Only thing I saw was the bright flashes from fireworks exploding right outside my bedroom window. Highly illegal in this city (up to $1,000 fine). Considering it woke me up and I haven't been able to get back to sleep I nealry called the cops on them.

Knowing my luck, some cop will drive by and see a bunch of firework leftovers in front of my yard and give me a ticket. That's how things go often with me...

Hrmm, of course since I've been awake I've made lots of progress on my programming stuff.

Yeah - mostly fireworks annoy me. The ones I mentioned in my post were neat, but I'm fed up of them now. What are you programming?

Well, currently not really programming. I'm playing around with modding Civ3:Conquests (adding in new units, features, changing some of the game rules, etc).

It gives me something to widdle away the endless hours when my mind decides it doesn't want to work properly...
