Against my better judgement, I just bought a can of Red Bull from the shop. I think I should go eat something before I freak my HR team out by exploding in a bunch of freaky over-caffeinated wibbles.
Nice to meet you finally *smiles* its a bit nerveracking is'nt it...actually getting face to face, I always get nervous *shrugs* I really don't know why!
Heheh - very nervewracking. I was a bit over-caffeinated, super-nervous and frazzled (hence the "babble mode"), but it was lovely to finally meet you *grins* We must have a nice chilled cup of coffee some time :)
Hmmm... it's OK with vodka, and I had a neat cocktail involving Red Bull and absinthe at some point. It'snot my favouritest drink though - I prefer Mountain Dew, but you can't get it over here.
We have RED Mountain Dew here. No idea what it's like, I've never had it. My friend's mum loves the stuff, but can't have it because the American stuff has caffeine in it, but the Canadian stuff doesn't (it's a legal thing), so I might try to bring back a few cans for her.
*grins* What flavour is the red one? I liked it, but you can't get it at all over here, as far as I know. Are there no caffeinated soft drinks in Canada?
It's probably Radioactive Cherry or something equally frightening. There's dnL (or maybe the caps are in different places) here which is bright green, and supposed to be some sort of 7up variation. It's actually pretty good.
Canadian fruit-flavoured drinks can't have caffeine in them. I guess Coke's okay, because no one knows what flavour it is anyway, but 7up and Sprite are both technically lemon-lime, so no caffeiene there, and not in ginger ale either, since I guess ginger's a fruit too legally. I think root beer can go both ways, and I've never seen cream soda (vanilla flavour, or just pink, if you'd rather) with caffeine in it either,
I bught some green ketchup once - not very tasty, but had to buy it. I'm not too keen on weird flavoured ones - 7up and cherry are OK, but Tizer and Dr peppers.... *shudder*
Have no idea what Tizer is, but Dr. Pepper is one of the few soda's i'll drink. Of course I like it because It's less harshly carbonated than Coke or Pepsi...
Heh, codeine is absolutely not allowed OTC in the US. They're currently trying to phase it out of prescriptions too, though it is still a common prescription. Most of the people I know who get their wisdom teeth removed are prescribed Tylenol-3 (Extra trength acetamenaphin with codeine added).
That's ok. I think I still have some of my mom's morphine in a cabinet somewhere. I have a habit of throwing that kind of stuff in a cabinet instead of properly disposing it...
