Jan. 20th, 2004 03:54 pmNeed five minutes to myself - my boss is agitating about details for a meeting tomorrow. Not only do I prefer "just in time" organisation for stuff like that (my brain goes much clearer under stress) but I also have a lot of work to do before I go on leave at the end of tomorrow. Bleh. The final straw just came when I bit into the cherry tomato part of my very late lunch and spattered my PC with pips :(
The chosen answer to my earlier conundrum is option 3 . I came to the conclusion that I didn't really care about the tutor that much - next year I'll just take the one I'm given - but I was getting stressed about the fact that I hadn't prepared at all. I've only read about half of the set texts (they recommend you read them all before the start). This way I get a whole extra year to prepare, plus more free time to do my Old English course and get started on the freelance research. I was hyperventilating about fitting all that in with a 60 point OU course, so I've switched to a 30 point one on Homer. Which ties in nicely with my travel plans for Greece in the Autumn :) So thanks for the advice - you were right, but I need some more free time anyway, so option 3 is the better choice right now.
